Quicken Loans

In June of 2010 Quicken Loans awarded GSI the telecommunications contract for their new headquarters located in the Compuware building in downtown Detroit.  This was a demo, renovation, and installation over a 9 week timeframe that would allow Quicken Loans to consolidate their 2,500 Michigan employees to floors 9 through 12.

GSI was next awarded the Security and Network installation for the renovation of the historical Madison Building.  GSI installed a high speed copper network and fiber riser connecting this Detroit landmark via RF units to the Quicken headquarters.

GSI further expanded its service line with Quicken Loans to include the full Security Systems install, including a Galaxy Control Card Access System to secure a multitenant facility.  This included access control door locations and hardware integration with Kone Elevator Systems.  GSI also installed an Arecont IP Surveillance solution to monitor the building perimeter, entry/exit points and special events on the finished rooftop.

The full build-out of the access control, IP surveillance, paging system and Category 6 network soon followed at the Qube (formerly known as the Chase Building) as well as the Detroit Surveillance Project which had GSI strategically place IP video surveillance to enhance coverage of the Detroit Financial district, Campus Martius and surrounding areas.

In early 2012 GSI began and completed the multitenant buildout of eleven floors in the Chrysler House, which was formerly the Dime Building.  This project included network, access control, and IP video surveillance as well as time clocks, wireless access points, paging systems and RF units.

Mid 2012 saw the beginning of the Title Source project in the First National Building which would be the fifth high rise project awarded to GSI since 2010.  As in previous projects, GSI provided security, network and paging systems for nearly a dozen floors.
